Review the project. Tell us what you want to make, who it is for and the quantities you have in mind. We review the design, construction, materials and commercial fit.
Agree development and sampling. Establish the work needed to refine the product and review its construction, proportions and finish. Development and sampling costs are considered separately from production pricing.
Confirm the specification. Agree the materials, sample requirements, branding, finishes, packaging, quantities, price and schedule before production proceeds.
Manufacture and check. Our factory combines traditional leatherworking skills with contemporary equipment, with quality checks from incoming leather through to finished goods and preparation for packaging.

Questions about working with Mowbray
Do you manufacture leather goods under a client's own brand?
Yes. We provide private-label development and manufacturing for bags, belts and small leather goods. Branding requirements are discussed and agreed as part of the product specification.
Do I need a finished technical pack?
No. You can start with a sketch, reference image, existing sample or technical pack. We review the information available and discuss the development work needed before production can be priced.
What are your minimum order quantities?
Minimum quantities depend on the product, construction, materials and work involved. Send the intended quantities for each style and colour so we can assess your project rather than apply the same minimum to every enquiry.
How much does manufacturing cost, and how long does it take?
Pricing and timing depend on the agreed specification, development work, materials and quantities. Sampling is considered separately from production. We discuss costs and scheduling after reviewing your requirements.
Can you use leather that I supply?
Yes, we can discuss working with client-supplied leather, including material intended to coordinate with an existing collection. Its suitability is considered alongside the construction and intended use.
Can I visit the factory?
Yes. Meetings and factory visits are welcome by appointment. Contact us first to arrange a suitable time.
